Woof Boom Radio
Believing great radio is local radio, Woof Boom Radio began with the stated intention to restore local control to radio listeners. Our vision: We use our voice to build our community. You can see that vision in everything we do. Woof Boom started in 2013 by purchasing six stations in East Central Indiana.
We give back to our communities in many ways.
In 2021, we gave away more than $18,000 in local business certificates through our Lifting Up Local promotion. But the giving didn’t stop there. Overall for 2021, we gave over $67,000 in cash and prizes to our listeners.
Did we mention we are more than radio? Woof Boom Radio, in partnership with the Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance, publishes the semiannual Alliance Magazine. It tells the stories of local businesses, people, and events in our growing and thriving communities. The Muncie Journal is another example of our commitment to communicate the successes and bright future we all share.
Today, Woof Boom and its affiliated companies represent 16 signals in licensed to 7 communities with five studio and business office locations.
